We have a thing called an Engineering Change Order (ECO). Some are called Engineering Change Requests (ECR) or Engineering Change Notices (ECN). When there is a need to change the documents, the engineer or tech submits the form with details of what needs to be changed and the Tech Writer (with the help of the SME)makes the changes.
