Of the two, the second is correct according to Microsoft published
convention, although the terminology needs to be cleaned up a bit (those
lists do have a name *g*).

So:

>From the "YYY" list of available actions, select "XXX".

Or, if you prefer:

"Get your XXX back to work you YYY!!!"
