Kim,

The first place I would look is Track Changes. If it is necessary to retain the change tracking at the current stage (I'm in the middle of a round of editing and just want to print out a copy with the changes hidden, for example), then save a second copy of the document, Accept All Changes, save again, and make the PDF. This may resolve all the problems of missing text.

The next place I would look is to check for hidden text. If hidden text markers are turned off, it may not be obvious that some paragraphs were inadvertently hidden at some point. As you know, in Word, text attributes can turn themselves on and off at will, without operator intervention. The resolution here is simple. Select All; Format > Font; clear the Hidden checkbox.

The next thing I would look for is text trapped inside of bookmarks, references, etc. I think you can see all of these if you press Alt+F9, but maybe someone else can verify this, as I don't use those features very much.

This is a start. Maybe some Word expert out there has other ideas, as well.

HTH,

Dick

It's from a document in Word made with a template. Sounds like a
combination for trouble if you ask me.
