Would anyone mind taking a peek at my Web site, and telling me if my logo likes like "chip blending into document", or if it just looks like a funny looking globe? Thanks! (Web site: www.OpComm.com)

Well, I must say, it looks globe-ish. Also, like other people have said, maybe a tad busy. The concept is good, though. What about a "document" icon with a representative computer chip on it?

Like http://jimmac.musichall.cz/i.php3?ikony=19 but with a small chip instead of the labels and such.

Just my $0.02.
