I think a more colloquial--and more upbeat--translation would be, "You can
be what you aspire to," or, "You can be whatever you want to be."

Anyone out there who can translate? Are some of the words feminine
gendered?

Omnia numquam tan aspera sunt quam videntur.


It might possibly mean - "Nothing's as bad as it seems."

(Based on my high school Latin more than 40 years ago!)
