Hi all.

I'm making ERDs in Visio 2000 sr1.

I'm using connection points to attach the lines that show the links between tables. Problem is that sometimes, even after attaching the lines, I can move the drawing boxes (the one's I'm using to represent the tables) and the lines don't move with the box. I have to reattach the line. Sometimes, if I move the box again, the line still doesn't move with it. Sometimes, or so it seems, I can move the box and the line will remained attached and the move the box a second time and the line will suddenly not be attached any more.

What am I doing wrong with these connection points and the lines? It's getting pretty annoying and while I can work with this going on, I'd like to avoid the frustration.

Any thoughts on what I might or might not be doing? Any troubleshooting ideas? And advice at all (other than "don't use Visio").

Thanks in advance.
