Joining ot have access to the job bank or to network for jobs are both
perfectly valid reasons for joining the STC.
The point isn't whether those are valid reasons. The point was that imagining that someone is actively engaged in the profession simply because of an STC membership (as one poster claimed) is a rash assumption.
