What is the difference between them printing it and you printing it.
Why would their printed material be heavier than yours?


Paper that you use in your laser or inkjet printer is almost always thicker and coarser than that used in magazines and jounals. Intercom uses a somewhat thick stock that isn't that smooth, but seems fairly lightweight. The journal uses thinner paper that appears calendared, if not supercalendared; it's probably not lighter, but is definitely bulky.
