After all the serious discussion on the future of TECHWR-L, here is a
somewhat lighter note. This is most emphatically NOT to start a political
discussion, but I thought it interesting that the fellow mentioned in this
article as being unemployed for the last two years is a technical writer:

Applicable morals to tech whirlers might be:
* Always check your sources (or make sure that your staff does).
* Running for office may offer a possible job alternative during an extended
dry spell. (Clearly the openings are somewhat seasonal.)

Other conclusions are left as an exercise to the reader.
