Since many of us are increasingly being called upon to communicate with colleagues in other countries, whether as equals, employees, or managers, I thought I'd pass along a useful resource:

This specific issue of their newsletter relates to working with Indian colleagues, but most of the recommendations would seem to work well for communication with people in any other culture*. In the past, this publisher has had useful articles on working with or in China too. Well worth a look. They offer an interesting newsletter; I've never had any particular problems with spam or other unpleasantness from subscribing.

* Confirmations, exceptions, war stories, and other anecdotes welcomed!
