Subject:PageMaker vs. Framemaker (those who've used both) From:Mike Jueneman <uticormike -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 5 Oct 2004 09:16:01 -0700 (PDT)
I'm a newbie and the only tech writer where I work,
and just as I'm getting comfortable working with
PageMaker 7.0 my supervisors are considering switching
to FrameMaker. Can anyone who has used both programs
give me a little feedback as to how they compare? We
have a lot of new products about to be released and I
guess I'm going to have several engineers adding
content to the manuals, so which program is more
team-friendly? Any help you can offer is appreciated.
