Give me a little credit, Tony. I did not search the whole Web. I searched only bit.listserv.techwr-l; and I got _some_ false hits, not what I'd call a lot.

I'd suggest that if you insist that the only way to discuss a concept is to use a particular phrase--consistently and with no omitted words--then you are going to find a limited number of posts no matter what the concept happens to be. If you open the search up a bit to catch synonymous phrases and elliptical references, you'll find that the concept has been well covered in this forum.

Dick, I tried the archive search box on the TECHWR-L
home page. Yours was a much broader search - the
whole web. Also, as I am sure you know, an "all the
words" search is going get you alot of false hits.

Tony,

You keep asserting this, so I thought maybe I'd check
the facts.
Using Google Groups Advanced Search, my results were
as follows:

All the words: user task analysis--508 posts
All the words: end user task analysis--318 posts
Exact phrase: end user task analysis--42 posts
Exact phrase: end-user task analysis--42 posts
What am I missing?
