Umm, if a new career 'came along' I might take it (trapeze artist,
dogcatcher?) It seems hard to speak of 'careers' as my career goes
careering into the future.
I will do this until I don't get paid for it, short answer.
Stable careers may depend upon where one lives and what one needs.
As a programmer I liked (pacit the late Rodney Dangerfield )to get respect
for my work, as well as money.
