This scribe navigated circuitously to this very nice website. It's a wonder
it's not all done in purple--oops, sorry, violaceous.

It reminds me of a quote from some British writer in the 1930's after a
visit to Russia: "I have seen the future and it is in Moscow." I might find
the program helpful when I'm teaching business writing--it'll save me
looking for or making up examples to be edited.

I remember seeing this on a list before. This product DOES exist! It's
called WhiteSmoke at http://www.whitesmoke.com/. It's an add-in for Word
that "enhances" your sentences. What worries me is their User Guide page.
The first screen shot / first step in the instructions has a callout that
states "Stand with your mouse cursor on the desired text".

I don't think any of us have to worry about software putting us out of
business any time soon!
