I am the one who asked about the Peoplesoft test. Let me clarify a few
things so as not to be accused of unethical behavior:
1. I was not asking for the test. Given the distribution of this email list,
such a question could undoubtedly get back to individuals at Peoplesoft, as
evidenced by the fact that some from Peoplesoft have responded to this
topic. I am neither unethical nor stupid.
2. I only wanted to know what areas might be covered in it in case I need to
refresh my mind. There is a distinction, for example, between someone taking
a history exam and wanting to know what topics are covered verses someone
who actually wants a copy of the test ahead of time. If I had wanted an
exact copy of the test, I just would have said so. Period.
3. I have always had some test taking and interviewing anxieties (I have
never had to take any sort of writing or editing test for a job before,
hence the reason why my anxiety is increasing now) so I always try to do
what I need to do to alleviate my anxiety.
I think I will ask more questions of the interviewer about the test and then
let him decide what he can or can not tell me.
Then again, maybe I shouldn't because he might accuse me of cheating right
there and then..(says me dripping with sarcasm).
