Re: Growth Path for TWs (5-6 YRS) IN ORG.
People with 5-6 years of experience in documentation (all types) - what
should be the automatic growth path. Assuming at that point the person maybe
a senior team member or a lead. I believe in Product companies the person
can grow as high as being VP-Documentation Group. But in a services company
what can he expect?
Generally developers with such kind of experience have the option of either
moving into Project Management role or Architect role. Should such an
opportunity be also given to TWs? I know TWs has to show their value, wear
different hats...but can I have some real experiences.
