I prefer FM but you could conceivably do this in Word.

another FM tool.

You have it pretty much down, but consider WebWorks Publisher for Word
(WWPW) instead of RoboHelp for your workflow. WWPW will give you
conditional text abilities and will allow you to actually
single-source from Word.
