I think we're going too far with this.

This is an appropriate format to help someone grope through what I assume
is a painful process. Why not - we talk about dealing with layoffs,
starting our own businesses, and quitting the profession forever. I don't
like it much either, but it's no worse than being laid off and being
replaced by a 25-year-old kid in the US.

Many of our Indian colleagues on this list are clearly extremely
professional, and would be an excellent source of this type of
information, although you might want to be careful about crossing the line
into an ad.

Others - like the people who post "I have been made tech writer for large
project. Please to tell me everything I need to know" - give me hope that
at least some projects will be returning to the US.
