SnagIt - Top Pick

~~~~~~~~~~
Dan the technical writer logged on to read PC World. An article called
'Top Download Picks' by Laura Blackwell caught his eye.
He read proudly, "SnagIt is the silent power behind the screenshots you
see in this column. I've also cut down on my tech support turnaround times
by sending in SnagIt captures of error messages. Free trial; $40 to keep."
He ran around the office showing it to many people, encouraging them to
download SnagIt.
"Why?" a coworker named Sandy said. "Why should I get it just because PC
World likes it?"
"SnagIt is the leading screen capture software for a reason," Dan
answered. "It's incredibly easy to use, and it makes sharing anything on
your computer a breeze."
"Oh?" she said.
"Plus," Dan continued, "TechSmith, the designer of SnagIt, has been a huge
TECHWR-L sponsor for years."
"Oh, that's right - I've seen the logo," she said. "Well ... maybe I'll
try it, since it's a free download."
"You'll be hooked!" Dan predicted, running off with his magazine.
Telling people about SnagIt was just like trying to get a job, he thought.
It wasn't what you knew, it was WHO you knew.
