I agree with your comment about a strong background in research. I hold
B.A.s in History and Anthropology and a M.A. in the latter subject. I
spent nearly 2 decades working as a consulting archaeologist for various
universities and consulting firms. When both the market and my personal
life made a change in careers advisable I moved quickly and successfully
into Technical Communications. One major reason is the ability to
acquire, organize, and explain large amounts of information, a skill
necessary in both TC and archaeology.
