...someone asks for a tool for printing a list of files and directories and you immediately think of the commands to do it, rather than a GUI tool.

For years, I've been telling people that I'm not a geek, but an anthropologist to geeks. However, since I'm another one who first thought of the command, I guess I'll have to reconsider.

What is *really* scary is that I thought of the Linux command first, and had to strain after the DOS/Windows one.
