We create PDF documents that are included in-the-box
with our products, which are shipped from the US and
from countries other than the US. We provide the docs
with "Printed in the US" on the front page. The local
organization edits the PDF to include their country
name in place of "US" to indicate the actual country
of printing

I've done the same thing in reverse, but for documents written in the US that were printed in Singapore. The
published documents still read like documents written
by US writers. As I said in my previous message, my
own experience is by no means comprehensive, but I
don't seem foreign companies deciding in an significant
numbers to hire writers from the US to come work in
their countries. Maybe if you're already there. More
likely what will happen is that the companies may hire
writers in their US distribution centers to edit/rewrite
the documents they generate there.
