You probably know this already, but Word's Compare function does not handle
tables very well. One workaround is to convert tables in both documents to
text before selecting Compare Documents. In the Convert Table to Text
screen, use an unusual character (such as ~) as the separator; this will
allow you to easily convert the text back to tables. If you have more than a
few tables, the conversions are best handled by macros.
