If you absolutely MUST have the same page numbers, how about formatting the "Instructor" text with a style that has white colored text? It will still be there on the page, but it will be "hidden" until you change the style sheet. I don't know what you'd do about text that wrapped to the top of the next page, though.

Also, if you must have matching numbers, you might number your pages anew with each section, so that even if the page numbers start getting out of sync, they'll match up again at the beginning of the next chapter. Thus you would number the pages in chapter 3: 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, etc.
