Warnings are not something that should be "experimented" with and coloured
boxes seems a highly irregular way of identifying warnings. A yellow box
seems particularly dangerous as it might well disappear if the document is
photocopied or printed in black and white. You'd be much better advised to
ignore all the various pundits and amateur design critics and contact the
appropriate authorities for accepted standards.
The US is a bit of a mix, but standards do exist. For Europe, the ISO
standards are the ones to follow with symbols and colours for all levels
of notes, warnings, and dangers. Ask around to see what standards are the
most applied in Japan.
