In Acrobat 6, open File > Document Properties > Description and there is
a field in the PDF information box called PDF Producer. You can't see it
in a text editor because it's encoded in binary. Most of the PDF editors
cannot touch this meta information ................. but there is one
that can, PDF Info. It's a free download available from
http://www.softforall.com/BusinessFinance/WordProcessing/PDF_Info02110059.htm.
Just erase the field value ...
