Ones that I enjoyed the most were actually a mix of events... a social
(yes Geoff, I do like mixers, just not ONLY mixers *g*) combined with
a panel discussion of some form. This way you shmooze it up and
network with other locals, enjoy a few drinks, then participate in an
open discussion on a set topic, with experts for that topic there to
field your questions and engage in debate. Then more shmoozing and
drinking. :-) But I like to get something out of the events, and not
just phone numbers and a buzz... ;-)
