Thanks Barry and Dick. Those definitions accord with some others I've found.
Our feature was previously called "scripting," and it enabled users to
automate the documentation of surgical cases. Basically they define a
script by selecting dialog boxes and fields that they want to use to
document part of a procedure. They click a button to "run the script" and
the system presents them with the associated data entry fields in the order
in which they were scripted. This saves the user from having to search for
particular fields related to a specific area of documentation that may be
distributed over several different tabs.
We aren't changing this functionality at all, just applying the word
"wizard" to it -- I think primarily for marketing purposes. But I don't
think calling it a wizard is technically accurate, hence my question.
