As far as automating it for all inbound messages, I think you'd need a
script. Unlikely that's allowed in a corporate environment.

As a per-message convenience, you should be able to record a macro that
(1) opens the chosen message, (2) positions the cursor in the
[low-lighted] subject line, (3) moves to `home`, (4) deletes X
characters [6?], (5) moves to `end`, (6) backspaces X characters, (7)
closes the message, (8) confirms save. Perhaps that last step shouldn't
be automated, for safety.

This could be abbreviated if you enable `in-cell editing` as described
in the first link above.

Or maybe they could train the darned filter, eh? Send it to a
conference or something. ;)
