Bonnie,

It certainly does seem that doing your job, in a professional manner, might
be a problem with the client.

Wouldn't he rather have the materials on (or before) schedule, than to have
to bug you for the materials.

Is he paying for performance?
Is he paying you by the hour, or by the job?
Does he have a schedule for the completion?

(These questions do not need a reply. That is your business.)
