The issue isn't tool...better, worse, the same.

The issue is that whatever your current process (and you have one
whether you know it or not), it will have to change. So, if you look
at it from the perspective of how the application makes you
productive, you become less productive (and by extension, a poorer
tool) untill you get everything converted; documents, macros, XSLTs,
directory structures, keyboard shortcuts, methodologies.

I don't hate having to change a tool...I hate having to change
everything that supports that tool.

Example...I have, no fooling, about $10,000 worth of tools that
analyse structures...schemas, code components, VB code, VBA code,
etc....software like CAST AppMiner, Embarcadero ERStudio, some CA
software, etc. However, my go-to applications each cost under $200
each, some bordering on Shareware. Why do I go to them? I'm
comfortable with them. I know what buttons to click, checkmarks to
populate, file formats to select. Will I get up to speed with the
others, sure. However, right now, using my current processes, I can
produce X output with some tools, and 1/x with the others.
