The ad is definitely from a company seeking a "glorified
secretary" type of contributor. Technical writing capbilities
aren't even a requirement, just a plus. My guess is that the
developers are doing the actual writing, and that admin is
just going to be typing it up and generating a PDF. Whether
it disrespects *us* or not I can't tell, because if I were a
senior level technical writer looking for new work I would appreciate an employer being upfront enough in its ad to tell me right off that its job is not one what I want to apply for.
