OK. I really need to wrap my brain around what you envision "techncial
writing certification" to actually certify.

There's a big difference between "certification in something" and
"broad set of useful skills". A certified DBA may or may not have good
project management, interpersonal, and time management skills. A
certified tech writer could be the same, IMO.

I'm callin' you out, John. ;-)

In however long it takes you, please spec out a tech writing
certification in detail for us all to review. Maybe once we have some
specifics to discuss, we can get somewhere.

Again, I'm not pro or anti certification; I'm pro-purpose and
anti-fuzziness. ;-)
