Speaking of which, have you ever seen how the major job boards (Monster, Dice, etc.) mangle a submitted résumé? They strip out all spacing and formatting, so everything just runs together. Forget about organizing information with tabs or tables, even if you start out in Notepad instead of Word. It's a wonder anyone can read these things at all.

I understand that large companies use software to scan posted résumés for keywords, but for individual recruiters or small companies to try to read these things with human eyes, it's an absurd system.

Has anyone devised a DTD for résumés? That would be the best solution, wouldn't it?
