TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
For quite some time, something appears to have been seriously wrong with
the list archives. The search function simply doesn't return the true
number of hits.
An example: I searched for "Broberg", which is my last name. I know that
I have posted quite a few posts on the list, but the search function
returns ONE hit.
Another example: I searched for "Penta", i.e. the name of the venerable
batch composition software. No hits, but when Googling "Penta" and
"TECHWR-L" I get several hits.
Lisa - any ideas what's happened?
Best regards,
Mats Broberg
