These days I only spend about a third of my time doing actual writing, so a "productive day" is more often one in which I was
able to badger a nonresponsive SME into reviewing something
one of my writers sent out for review or convince executive
management to sign off on a hiring requisition or a document
requirement in the QA pass/fail criteria. Everyone has their
own definition of "productive." :)
