A process is a procedure that may have subprocesses that might have
subprocedures that would have subprocesses, ad infantum.......

A process has a starting point and an ending point.
A procedure has a starting point and an ending point.

Each might be considered an 'object' or a 'black box'

An outline for a book/document has a starting point and an ending point.

As tech writers, we know you cannot have a 'single' heading under another
heading. (Right?) If so, the heading is not needed

If you go in, you gotta come out, a step at a time.

A paragraph in section 1 cannot immediately jump to a paragraph in Section
6, or can it?

More food for thought!!
