Martin, while you're feeling guilty consider really could be
worse. In fact,
1. you could be sitting in a cubicle in a call centre,
2. your cubemate could be constantly conducting conversations in a foreign
3. your second cubemate could be having outbursts-a-la sailor every 2
4. another cubemate might have a loudly ringing cell phone that treats you
to the William Tell Overture (and he waits to the end every time before he
answers it).

I have always had 2 or more of the above to contend with. Think on these
