I have to agree with John on this. Traveling doesn't just postpone stress until you get home, it increases the stress you're going to come home to. One of the reasons why I never attend conferences that require travel is that travel takes me away from the sources of my stress long enough for those sources to grow like kudzu without me there to keep them in check.
