Certainly in a situation where the application itself is network-based having
the help/reference material delivered through the same channel makes sense,
especially when secure channels like internal networks and VPNs are involved.
But the proliferation of previously net-independent apps that insist on accessing
the net every time you start them up even though neither the app nor the help
is being updated on a regular basis is another matter.
