Thank you. I use SnagIt as well. To clarify, my question was about
*Linux*, specifically Red Hat ES 3 (Intel x86).

I doubt that SnagIt would work correctly running in emulation under
Linux, or even in Crossover. Has anyone tried this? I suppose *I* could;
I'm testing FM with Crossover...

GIMP/"TheGimp" seems to be the tool of choice for Linux. I think it
comes with Gnome core. Another form of it may come with KDE.

After due research, we chose SnagIt. We downloaded evaluation versions,
really liked the user interface, the weekly tech tips during evaluation,
