Just some techwriting silliness for Friday.

My mom is a techwriter.

She created short, concise instructional steps for
various things around the house. Turning on the
attic fan required opening a few doors first. Opening
our cabin changed between summer and winter, so there
were different procedures for each.

Running the pool filter required certain valves to
be opened of closed in a very particular sequence
to avoid damaging the system.

My brothers and I learned early the value of technical
writing from mom, and it appears that I continued on
with this family trait to the next level, getting
paid for doing it.

CB - who writes short concise instructional steps
for activities around this house as well
