Hi Carrie,

As one who has done both, I have to admit I find it slightly more difficult to write the punchy, clipped stuff of brochures. It is, usually, a different audience, for whom you are trying to get at the emotions. You are trying to convince, not just explain. It is, IMO, a more demanding type of writing.
