The point would be to not have to rework it all in RoboHelp
or other HATT (but RH is the one we have), in order to include
all the value-added stuff like ToC-based navigation, connected
Content is nice, especially if it's good content that has been
massaged and pummelled by various reviewers/contributors, but
a help system makes that content easy to find.
A proper Wiki engine makes the Wiki content easy to access,
but we weren't talking about giving the Wiki to customers
-- as a Wiki -- were we?
Actually, if there's good control on editing/commenting permissions
then the Wiki itself would be fine to give to customers... except
for those who set our stuff up in sequestered networks and other
secure environments where they can't access the web (and therefore
want to download our Help system for local access).
Anyway, I'll go play in Lou's sandbox and hope the cat hasn't been
using it too. :-)
