I was browsing through the free goodies for assembling documentation
available on my Linux box and I was wondering if any of them were in
demand in the Tech Writing world:

* SGML
* DocBook
* TeX or LaTeX

I asked a tech writing person about TeX some months ago and I got a blank look.

But I was wondering if any of you knew of niches where they were in demand.

Thanks in advance.

"I don't know" is an answer.
"I don't know yet" is a better answer.
