Hi Katherine,


All the numbers in section 27 are in USD, so technical writer in
India, with 0-2 years experience, makes an average of USD 6306 and not
INR 6306. Same for the other case you quoted.

The references used for this comparison are:
India: STC India 2005 salary survey
US: STC 2004 salary survey

Cost of living in all Indian cities is almost the same except for the
cost of properties. Those are higher in Bangalore and Mumbai.

I am not sure how I should quantify the cost of leaving. Tell me some
common commodities for which you would like to compare the prices and
I can give you the Indian prices.
