There are a number of firms that market software designed to service
the needs of the legal field. Within law firms themselves, I would think
there is next to nothing, as lawyers write their own briefs and filings
and (if they're smart) have legal secretaries with good language skills
correct their grammar and spelling. My wife used to be a legal
secretary/office manager, and tells me that most lawyers have even
worse writing skills than most tech writers think engineers do.
