Previous is easy: Create an alternative style with the desired spacing. Open STYLE_A. In Word as
well as in InDesign you can assign what style should be used for the next paragraph - select your
alternative style. This should be a feature included in a lot of word processors and DTP
applications.
Next is a bit more difficult: How should the application know what style you will be using next?
The only solution I can think of is scripting. With Javascript (InDesing) or VBA (InDesign, Word)
you could check for STYLE_A and then change the spacing of the previuos paragraph.
