Hi Andy,

I guess everyone's learning style is different. I learned FrameMaker
first by self-teaching, then in the classroom where the instructor
actually had us follow the Classroom in a Book (CIB) lessons. My
knowledge of WebWorks Publisher (related) is completely self-taught.

For beginners, I think the CIB is a good start, but my style is to just
dig in and get my hands dirty. I learn best in a non-linear way, by
trial and error. On the other hand, because I am non-linear, there are
things I might miss by teaching myself that a classroom instructor would
be sure to mention.

JMHO.
