Okay, given all this talk about OOo, I finally have decided to ask a two questions that have been bugging me when.

1. Whenever I copy and paste a block of text into Writer, regardless of the source, Writer dumps it into a text box of some kind and not into the normal flow of the document. How do I turn this off?

2. In Draw, when I rotate a shape, the text rotates with it. How can I just rotate the shape and leave the text horizontal? Along the same lines, where can I find a good set of simple flowchart symbols. I looked in a handful of places, I can't remember their names right now, I could not find a simple set (line drawings with no color). Unless, of course, I don't understand how to use the ones I did find, which is entirely possible.
